Just one day old!!

And my M Sport 30d MHEV is being recovered at just 24 hours of owning it. Main dash is just blank glass. Heads up still works but not the main speedometer and tacho screen. Anybody else had this problem?

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's something they can fix quick, and you can put it in the rear view mirror.

It happened to me once. I used the HUD for a short drive for the speedometer. After it was shut off for awhile, it all came back the next time (but didn't with a quick on/off) and has not happened again. FWIW, the dealer checked, and there were no error codes logged, so if it's not persistent, it might be hard to find and fix.

Press and hold the stereo's volume button for about 80 seconds... the system will cycle a few times...

Second this. Sometimes one cycle after 30-40 will do. It's likely just crashed, if you don't have other errors.

Typically a hard reset cures most if not all of the glitches. Especially if the vehicle sat and the battery died or PDI/Service Dept. performed updates or other changes as part of the delivery.
