Alpine dash - simple Bimmercode
ADV on 2019s - Expert Bimmercode, but ultimately not that complicated

Do we know if tailgate module will ever be available again? I am ready to code ADV, anti dazzle, ASS, and would love to do close trunk via fob but have been waiting to do anything in case that module comes back.

Can't do anti-dazzle decode removal in Bimmercode. No idea on what's on the roadmap or not, best to ask developer.

This is what I have been waiting for. I have coded ASS off and seat belt chimes off and nag warnings off. On the fence with the Alpina. looks interesting but I don't want to lose my M50i logo on center display.

You can code alpina and your desired logo separately in expert mode. Alpina in sport mode is a great Xmas theme.
ADV is a simplified view of what your sensors are seeing around you, to me not worth substituting the roadmap, but cute to demo with passengers

Things will start to get way more interesting if BimmerCode can "crack" the body module and allow for expert mode there....

These are the required codes for Assisted Driving View (ADV).

This code enables ADV when Assisted Driving is active:
DKOMBI\CB_FZG_UMGEBUNG_FAS: aktiv [01]

These codes allow ADV to be enabled at all times. After coding the changes, you can set ADV in the Central Display Area setting within iDrive:
DKOMBI\
CB_PRESELECT_NAVI_ANSICHT_FZG_UMGEBUNG: aktiv [01]
PIA_FZG_UMGEBUNG_FAS: aktiv [01]

You can change each item individually and then back out and code all at once .

The Alpina layout doesn't require expert mode. Just go to instrument cluster/DKOMBI4 and select Alpina from display layout.

I haven't seen that changed so far but can be removed, I used LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG and select anything.

I'd be interested to see this changed successfully.

Code alpina in simple mode, then go to expert mode and search for "logo", then set that one as desired.

Ok found it, thanks!! I tried M50i and x5 M50i and neither was able to bring back the "stock" IC logo, but I'm really digging the alpina blue without the alpina text.

I got it to work with the help from this forum. There is a certain amount of satisfaction adding a 2020 option that i felt should have been added with the last update but i think for marketing not putting it on the 19s.

I used bimmercode to tweak a few bits, add ADV but I'm disappointed I can't yet set the driving mode at startup, or enable comfort+ and sport+, the module just ins't there...

You can do the mode at start up coding if you want to delve into the more advanced coding procedures that involve Esys and launcher pro or EsysX.
