I have what seems to be 2023/11 on my phone (2023/7 already installed) so I went for a drive yesterday hoping to transfer it to the car but for some reason that it was unwilling to share with me it didn't do the transfer, but it was a fun, if short, drive anyway.

I’ve noticed one thing but that might be just my imagination. Previously when the car was charging and I would open a door - it would immediately pause the charging process until I’d close the door again. Now I sometimes manage to open a door and it keeps charging. Anyone else noticed this?

What updates did you get? I have a MY24 M60i w/iD8.5. I'm wondering if it'll give the capability to select welcome lighting effects.

Me too!! I hate that feature. My GLE had a button i had to press to defeat it which was a pain, but i never remember to switch to manual sport mode in the X5 until it has shut off once or twice already.

Not sure which of the 3 options i listed fixed it, but i did all 3 and i can now see key card and digital key which wasnt showing prior to that. My car got delivered with the latest software but still needed me to do that. |

Not positive but in UK illuminated grill is standard on M60i as it gets the m sport pro package as standard and it is part of that, hence non selectable.

Updated mine last night, differences I noticed so far (if these were there before, I hadn’t noticed them):
In Driver Assistance:
In Individual Climate Control, there seems to be an additional setting for rear seat climate control (default vs having a set temp, whatever default may be)? Don’t forget to enable engine start for remote preconditioning if you use that feature through the app (M60i here). And my settings for auto enabling seat heat and ventilation & heated steering wheel were turned off and had to be set again. I assume they made some changes there. |

Welcome Light $50 subcription Connected Drive Add-on
I purchased this just to see what it was about. There are 3 options for when the car unlocks for the headlights to flash/blink in a set succession. The taillights do not change. I was underwhelmed by it but hey, I have spent more money on worse! Of the 3, I settled on the middle selection.
As an aside, I saw a commercial last night about a lady standing at the front of her car trying to decide which headlight options she liked while her son was changing them inside the car. I didn't pay attention to the make/model but it made me laugh since I was trying to figure this out by myself ha!! |

iDrive7 11/2023.50 finally installed today. My charging in timeslot + heated seat+wheel below 10C didn't work initially, but I changed it and changed it back and things are OK now.

From what my service manager told me, they don't tell them all of what is changed. If they have a problem, they contact headquarters, and they'll tell them if a s/w update will resolve the problem. Over time, a good service manager should get a better idea.
