I t has been 12 days since order was accepted by BMW
but shows 047 no allocation and no production number for me to track
dealer said they had an allocation when I ordered but that must have been false.

How long do I have to wait just to get a production number so I can track it

When the dealer places an order they generate a production number right away assuming they have priority 1

I ordered on May 4th, had a production number on the 6th. So it sounds like a dealer issue. You might want to rattle their cage
