Your OTHER(s), BMW ?
I picked up the 2019 G05 last week, and love it, but really my 'runaround' is not the X5. Too cumbersome really on the small roads down the south of england.
My other BMW is a Z3 from exactly 20 years before my X5, it's a september 1999 2.8L straight six petrol, drives fantastic, sounds even better and put a smile on my face every time I take it out. I swear it sounds like and old style F1 car when I red-line it. So, guys, what is your OTHER non-SUV BMW?

That looks like tons of fun! My OTHER BMW is on order, will likely arrive at the same time as the X5 and is an m340i. I've only test driven it briefly and loved it. |

Mine is an F30 328i m-sport with most options. Bought it new and picked it up in Munich. I've had it 6 years now and love it. My wife's G05 is an amazing car but for a daily driver I'm happy in my sporty little 328i. I must say that the G05 feels less "too big" and more "just right" every time I drive it. For me, its fun to switch back and forth. All I need now is a weekend car with a manual transmission to fill the third car garage. The 8-speed ZF has weaned me away from manual, but it would be nice to shift the gears from time to time.

1996 850Ci (green one) and 1994 850CSi (red one). Both fun to drive, but the CSi is more of an investment, so doesn't get driven quite as much. |
