Heading down to dealer in an hour! Make sure they take care of the B340918 service action ! Mine was delayed 3 hours as it wasn't done at factory before it left 3 days ago.

Nice I actually took a look hoping I ran into you but left around lunch - it is chaos over there across from the mall, friggin idiots shipping.

Also, forgot to mention, had them check, I also received the leather credit that I did not think I would get as it is a December Build, so happy about that - assume you got that also, make sure you check if you didn't it will show on the windows sticker.

It was supposed to only be for pre December builds, but looks like they at least gave it to week 49 builds.

Sorry to miss you! Was there from 2:15 to about 4:00. It was an absolute shit show getting in and out of there with the last minute shopping mall frenzy and people were driving like the had lost their minds.

Made it home safe with the new X5. Wow was the ride nice. Parked it in my garage - it's pitch black out and the weather is awful - no need to play with it more today. Looking forward to making it mine tomorrow and move in all my stuff.

Yes - got the leather credit. I noticed BMW did not make Sensitech available until 12/15ish on the configurator, so I think they extended it to later builds.

Your color combo looks awesome - my interior choice was basically a coin toss between ivory or coffee. Went with the latter given my exterior color and like it a lot.

Also took delivery today - arrived at dealership at 630pm, car was still in detail shop, so did paperwork, then got the car, got the genius overview (not that impressive), drove away at 8pm (it's pitch black now so no good pics till tomorrow). This was later than expected due to the latest update taking 4 extra hours.

Car is awesome as hoped/expected! Some things off the top of my head:

- BMW Connect / CarPlay apparently can't get setup until my CA enters car info into some system so the car knows I paid for it. So my "genius" basically showed me how to pair my phone (which I've done hundreds of times in rental cars) and that was it.

- No leather credit for me (car ordered 11/3, build complete 12/10). CA said "that was for early builds" when pressed.

- Did my BMWCCA membership and rebate application already. Note that you *have* to do the CCA membership on the day of delivery (or before it) or else no rebate for you. For the rebate application itself you have extra time (15 days after delivery) to submit. But ya gotta have the membership as of your delivery date!

Got ultimate care +1 from advice in this forum regarding brake jobs for the M sport brakes. Steered clear of all the other "extras" they offered (with associated flyers/dseskpads all over the finance person's desk but they weren't pushy about it).

Continued to lament the lack of sky lounge to CA. He was slightly sympathetic but otherwise unmoved.

Interesting how you didn't get the Leather Credit whereas others did. I wonder what the deciding factor is...? And it's definitely not the " that was for earlier builds" your CA bs'ed you.

My guess is week 49 or earlier got leather credit. Week 50 or later, not so much .

I automatically assumed his was a week 49, since this is a week 49 thread. But if his build was completed on 12/10 that would put him in week 50.

My car, which was built on 12/12 and is heading to Los Angeles, was released from the Oxnard VPC today to the trucking company. So west coast deliveries should be happening soon! FYI.

That's interesting. Mine was completed on 12/4 and it's still showing "At the Port." Granted, the website is never accurate and my CA is the most hands-off car salesman I've ever dealt with in my life. I have to pry him for info and I sometimes wonder what would happen if I never take the initiative in our conversations...?

Is yours a 50i it didn't apply to those only 40i? My original date was 12/5 finished 12/10 at dealer yesterday had them pull the vehicle pricing and it showed the leather credit. It should be on your window sticker also (usually in glovebox if they never put it on the window as it was an order) or the dealer can print it out the MSRP price list with all option prices and show if it is on there.

No leather credit for 50i since base (Vernesca) leather is standard on 50i.
