Mine was "at the port" since 12/5 and just changed to "in transit" today, 12/23. I believe "at the port" is anywhere between the production plant and Oxnard. I assume "in transit" is on its way to dealer.

Was really happy to get mine before Christmas. This has every option I think other than night vision and a trailer hitch. So far, I am loving it. Does anyone know if this should have come with a cargo net? I am hoping it's at the dealer as well as the driver door handle lock/cap. I have a Bowers and Wilkins system at home, so I am super excited to get this in my car. I was torn between a new Cayenne S and the X5, but the Bowers an Wilkins was part of what swayed me towards the X5.

Ya first problem was the car comes faster than the certificate of origin/title, then 3 days off for service so today they booked me for 2pm but couldn't do the update fast enough to get it in today, hopefully no issues tomorrow!

At this point. One day won't kill ya. It's like having two Christmas days in one week. Getting any accessories? Floor mats/liners?

Looks like you have the Bowers & Wilkins. Can you confirm whether it has 16 or 20 speakers. There seems to be inconsistencies comparing the online configurator vs some of the promotional videos. Thanks.

Ok picked it up, took forever, still don't have my reg as my insurance company is on slow mode it seems, so will have to go back for that and inspection. So far love the car, it did some driving for me on the way home and worked well, most other stuff doesn't work as the ESA was not in, they just did it, so will see if I can figure out all the connected stuff tomorrow and take some pictures.

I took my X5 on the highway today for the first time (128 South from Peabody to Reading). Good amount of traffic. Had it drive for me. Wow is it weird at first - and kind of scary - but also pretty amazing. On the way home, I realized - middle lane is best suited for the vehicle's "eyes" and autonomous driving. My X5 drove the stretch from Reading to Peabody with just my thumb on the wheel. Far right lane (which is what I tried going south) has too much confusing information for the vehicle with the exits every few miles. Be patient with ESA and other nits. I've been able to iron them out methodically. Fun as hell. |

So far so good actually, mostly working, ESA was done by 7:15 or so, tried SOS at 8 and it worked, spent about an hour messing around, got apple car play working, have remote start working from the app and the other functions - only thing that is not quite right is it still thinks the car is at the dealer and the surround view from the app is not working even though I updated apps and agreed to all the stuff including 3d surround view, so will give it some time.
I think the only thing left to really figure out is apps - can't get any like the weather app etc just the 2 that come standard, but will read the thread on here someone posted about it to see if I can get it working tomorrow. So far love it! Oh and I did get the credit card key thing, was in my center console, need to figure that out also.
