Is this a stock xpipe? I didn’t think they came from the factory that way.

That looks like a stock mid section resonator for the v8.

Is it hollow on the inside or is it restricted?

Here is a pic of the inside of the resonator from an M50i. It’s pretty much straight through with some light baffling surrounding it. Hope this helps.

Cheers!

I tried the fuse pull last night for the valves but I don’t think it worked. The cold start on the 50 is amazing. I am guessing I need to disconnect the servos as well.

That looks exactly like the stock resonator on the M60.

Based on the image above and how it looked when I had it on a lift, I do not believe it is an x pipe, looks to be straight through or maybe an H pipe.

Do you have an angle view of that resonator to see what it looks like in the middle?

In researching this X and H pipe option and looking at the factory resonator, it looks like there is a common air space shared inside the resonator. Has anyone done any dump testing for a before and after measurement for just adding an X or H pipe with the factory resonator in place?
