Hey guys, anyone tuned with BM3

Just wondering if anyone here went the Bootmod3 or Heatsync route on their M50I and possibly did a dynotune afterwards

I have gone the Bootmod3 route but haven’t gotten a chance to dyno it yet. It’s a very noticeable pull and my butt dyno approves.

If bm3 is an option on your vehicle, it's a must-do upgrade in my opinion.

Very noticeable power increase safely.

There is a F96 X6M on here that has is BM3. I will be sending mine out to be unlocked at the end of this month, maybe early Feb at the latest. I'll follow up with a writeup of the journey. Looking forward to the drivability of an OBD tune over a piggy back "tune" on my F95.

Unfortunately I don’t have any we’re still doing logging and updating But it is night and day difference.

Hoping that XHP Will have access to the transmission Tuning soon

Yes you will hace burbles with the factory exhaust. I did in sport and sport plus mode. I got significantly more burbles after I added a high flow catted DP and catback exhaust system

Are you running colder plugs? And if so what is the part number?I plan to go boot mod this weekend just need to make sure my 2019 dme isn't locked !

Dont know the part number off the top of my head, but they are one step colder NGK performance iridium.

My DME was locked. Needed to have it unlocked locally before i flashed.

What year? Did you have to remove it and where was it located?

Boot mod told me how to check, ges I will know this Saturday. I have plugs, new coils Intake and boost pipe so I am ready. Hope it isn't locked

If it has 11/2019 software or later, it's locked. You can check the current version by going into iDrive and selecting remote upgrade. Will tell you what you have now. The good news is, even if it is later software and locked, the pre 06/2020 DME's can be bench unlocked easily.

I sent mine to Kies Motorsports to have it unlocked. It’s actually a pretty quick turn around.I sent mine out on a Monday and had it back on Wednesday.
