With much respect for the F85, I'm surprised Joe and his bromance sidekick didn't critique the Alcantara headliner in the F95 as being too dark or too soft for an M car.

Unfairly subjective with numerous nuggets IMO. "You don't get this, you don't get that... why did they do this... I don't like that" while driving the F95...

Actually I think their review was fairly spot on. Having owned X5M's from 2010, 2013, 2016, 2018 and the latest 2020 X5MC. The 2018 X5M was a better screwed together car, more compliant, more accurate steering, all around better driver. Yes it was not as fast as the 2020 is, but how often do you need that slight margin of victory.

I agree with all their points. Spot on actually.

I had a F85 and now F95 X5MC.

Visually the F95 wins hands down. Inside and out. No comparison

Functionally as a M super suv - the F85 was better IMO.

I was super critical about the ride quality of my F95 right from the beginning. I've since add the MSS suspension and while its better, i still think the previous gen rides better.

Interior does creak in this gen. I love the way it looks but these creaks/rattles sort of ruins the experience for me. I've chased down most with foam, felt tape but still have a few i can't seem to pinpoint. Most people wouldn't notice these things but I do because I am OCD when it comes to my car.

Despite some of these "issues" with the F95 its still the one I would take. The previous gen's looks never really did it for me even after modifications. The F95 is just sexy all around and it makes me look back at it every time I park.
