Body sheet metal might change but wheelbase will not.
What are you talking about??? I've seen many posts from you and often seems like you either like to argue or "must be right".

I asked for your source, you don't have one because there isn't one, hence conjecture nothing more nothing less. No one is saying anything about factory ability to build something. You are just off your rocker period.

I don't have much room inside my current garages for something bigger or nearly the same size of a X7 to store. Hence asking about your claim to know the size or rough size.

You're confusing "must be right" with "is right"

The source is above btw, the M design chief, no need to throw a hissy fit.

It's just a conversation.

Why wait on the XM, get the X5MC and see how the XM appeals to you in 18-24 months when the production car goes on sale (the concepts being shown are just that…concepts)

Production model XM will launch in December - 10 months. Delivers will be Feb/March 2023 just before the LCI X5M’s in April 2023. So either get a botched up 2022 X5M now with random missing options, or wait 10 months and see which will be better. The XM in December 2022 or the LCI X5M in April 2023. Most likely final version XM images will leak well before December.

Missing that petrol engine :-(

I would go for facelift of x5mc if I would be choosing now. But I already have 2020 X5MC :-)

I was going to go for the X8M or XM as it was called up until the reveal. Will just replace my 21 X5M with the 23 LCI X5M when it comes out. The question for me is do I go balls deep on individualizing it since it's likely the last gas only X5M, or keep it serial.

Good points, if anything the OP should be weighing the XM vs. the LCI X5M. For that, a true objective comparison is at least 12 months out…
