Nope. Those would only be changed by a bench tune because those values are just values injected into a stylesheet. A piggyback like this will intercept a few key signals and adjust what -it- tells the ecus is going on in order to encourage the vehicle to react in a specific way

meanwhile the car thinks nothing has changed.

Sure the pic is a bit of hyperbole, but it's not like bumping 530hp farther north is in any way -not- a bit of hyperbole on its own

I just joined maybe 5 minutes ago (I've been meaning to do so for awhile), and wanted to share my thoughts.

Last August I sold my Trackhawk and bought my first BMW: a 2019 X5 50i. The X5 is a truly refined vehicle compared to anything I've owned previously.

The 4.4TT is a strong motor, to be sure, but compared to the Trackhawk the 50i wasn't giving me... enough. I fully expected to be let down by pretty much any other vehicle (acceleration wise) after the Trackhawk. The Trackhawk was untouchably visceral when it came to acceleration, especially from a dig. So... I wanted more, and I also wanted to keep my warranty since I went with a 5y CPO.

After extensive research, I concluded that the RaceChip GTS Black was the way to go, and Ben here made it happen for me in short order - even helping me through getting it installed (which btw, was a piece of cake).

The end result was a noticeable improvement, enough that when I temporarily removed it to take it to a dealer for service I couldn't wait to get it back in!

I've since given my wife my 50i and got myself into a 2020 X5 M50i, worked with Ben to get my one time free move to reconfigure the GTS Black for the M50i, and all I can say is WOW!

The 50i w/RaceChip was just a little slower than the stock M50i, but not ground breaking. However, putting the GTS Black in my M50i brought it alive! Turned it into a beast that I truly enjoy driving.

Unless if your '20 X6 M50i is using other engine than BMW M50i engine, then it won't work.
Otherwise, it will work flawlessly.

. Heck, I even turned off ambient lighting during the day to see if that might help. Lol.

With racechip in eco mode, I’m now seeing 19.6 mpg! I’ll take it!

No break-in period for non M cars.
But, some still do go through the break-in period.

WOW you are getting better fuel millage. For some reason I think mine is going to drop when I install it next week.

We are making a trip to Dallas end of March. I will see how she does in Eco Mode if I can get my brain to allow that to happen.
