Yea this guy with his stories. I think the car goes to there warehouse with all the paperwork and then gets sent over to them, this dude either doesnt really know the process or just tells me random things.

Based on my research the MSO is issued at the factory and is shipped with the car. His story was, that BMWUSA ships it separate via mail and arrives 2-3 days after the car.

Anyway lets see how today goes, I have a 6:30 appt to get my delivery and giving up my current car today.

dispatched Friday but still did not make it to dealership. Both Genius & Dealership are saying carrier's estimate is showing coming on Thanksgiving day!!

Lets see… still hopeful as want to pick it up before thanksgiving

I believe those are Bridgestone Alenza Sport A/S (per tire rack). I personally don't care for Bridgestones and I will be swapping them with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 in a few weeks.

I will probably get a set of 21 or 22" aftermarket wheels with Michelins next spring.

The three OEM tires fit the 20” are Bridgestone Alenza Sport, Continental CrossContact Sport and Pirelli Scorpion Zero. It is the luck of the draw as to which ones you get.

Does anyone know if there is anyway to get tracking or realistic ETA for ground shipped X5? Genius wont tell me the which Carrier is being used as they say it's for safety reasons. Shouldn't my Dealership be able to
Call the the Transport company and get an idea? It's been dispatched from factory since Nov 18 and still not at the dealership. Chicago deliveries are generally 1-2 days.

Glad it arrived. To answer your question, there is no way to track it when it goes by truck.
