Beautiful machine. Although I prefer the UP-YOUR'S styling of the first two gens.

At this rate, the designers will have this thing shaved down to a Gran Turismo within the next couple of iterations.

So my $20 says the official reveal announcement will be tomorrow. Same as when the X3 and X5 were “leaked”, announcement was the next day.

Definitely agree with you...first gen looked awesome and looked cool with the wide/thick rear....the next one does not appear to be as wide.
This ones looks good on the front and rear...

It turns out that car companies build cars to suit different tastes. So while X6 is not my taste, I will sell like hotcakes to those who like this kind of vehicle.

By the way, I realize my comment about less cargo space lacks logic. If I were correct, every sedan would be a station wagon. It's not always about the space.
Except the reason often given for getting an SUV (at least in my experience) is more space. It's like getting a pick up truck without a bed in the back. To each their own I suppose.

I have to agree to a large extent. X5 looks so good that rearranged rear end seems like a poorly focused effort.

I thought for sure the image was poorly photoshopped (regarding the backlit grille) not so sure anymore 🧐...

It’s a light illumination, thank God not every slat! Waiting for final reveal to see if I like.

I’m not sure what it is but there is something badass about most of the large SUV coupes. Thinking about it I think for me it could be lines somewhat related to this

time to fire the designers, if the front is not screwed with massive grills, the back is with out of place lights.

Just noticed the different grill than the X5.
I actually kind of like it. It looks like the kind of car you need to enjoy in real life, and once it grows on you you'll love it.
Good stuff on the illuminated grill. Nice touch

because China market dictates what the ROW gets now. They wanted the larger grills and how are you going to see them at night unless you light em up.

Doesn't it look same/similar to the outgoing model?
For the record, the most mean and best in business SUV coupe till now has been the original x6 (lci). The gle coupe in AMG trim is maybe taking this over now but anyone thinking the current/new x6 is the king in looks is biased.

Looking forward to seeing more photos with the expected release today. So far, it looks like a big improvement over the previous model. I wonder when we can expect pricing/ordering guides and release date?
