03/2020.30 and Heads-up Display

Just picked my picked up my X5 from service and on the way home noticed that my green icons for the cruise control on the heads-up display aren't displaying anymore when I go to activate the cruise control or make adjustments to the speed. I'm not sure if something got deactivated in the settings or there's an issue with this software upgrade.

Anyone else notice this?

What mode are you driving in - Comfort, Sport, Adaptive? Or what's displaying in your HUD?

Sport mode will switch to Sport display in heads up unless you change the HUD settings.

I'm driving in comfort mode - speed limit (left), vehicle speed (right). I do have the tachometer turned on (via the HUD setting) which appears above those two and had it on since delivery last summer, and the green icon used to appear. I was previously on 07/2019.xx

Hhhmmm, I'll have to give your settings a try tomorrow morning and report back.

I recall enabling tach in HUD display or sport mode that adaptive cruise control speed did not display. My G05 is on 07/2019.63.

I am on 03/2020 too and I can see the cruise control setting in my HUD.

Chosen speed. Current speed. Speed limit are displayed.
If the speed limit changes in the bottom left an icon "set" appears. If set is pushed on the steering wheel it goes to this speed. I have chosen to set it 5 km/h higher.

In sport like mentioned by Auricom it is different but I disabled this.

Maybe do a good old push the volume button 30 sec Idrive reset? Solves a lot.

I know on my 2020 X5 M5.0 with 11/2020.55 running that when the tach is on the HUD, some of the other elements disappear. They reappear when I get OUT of Sport mode, or remove the tach.

So, guess I am seeing the same thing.

I took quick photos of the HUD displays with sport display active and inactive. G05 was in driven in Adaptive Mode and Active Cruise Control, Active Lane Keeping Assistant and Steering and Lane Control Assistant active.

TLDR; With SPORT display on in HUD, active cruise control, lane keeping, steering and lane control info are not displayed.

I really appreciate all the pics! It put's my mind at ease. With less traffic these days and to avoid the flash flash in the rearview mirror followed by a nice picture of the rear of my x5 in the mail, I've been using the cruise control a little bit more.
