As I know invoice is about 6.5% so if you add the incentives most likely you are under invoice.

Invoice has been reported previously as being around 7.5%.

Never heard being so high. I ran numbers on 40i $75k and $81k and the invoice came to ~6.5% . Maybe on the 50i

I verified, invoice on my car is 6.24% below MSRP. Once you add the incentive its 7.4%. With CCA, it's 8.55%

Does anyone know when the January 2019 rates and residuals will be released?

What is meant by "residuals"?

As of yesterday my Sales Director emailed me the following based on the fact that he wants to sell me something on the lot. Kicker is, I make it a habit in life not to buy something I don't want like the car's Harman Kardon speaker system. So, should I wait until Jan. or try to find something on the lot that's packed with a lot of crap?

Cash deal FWIW.

Mr ******,

The end of year pricing we provided on the quote is different than an order as the incentives change monthly.

I will be glad to provide a quote on an order for you, however the incentives are generally lower on the order.

What did you not like about the car you were quoted? Thanks and I look forward to assisting any way I can! We will be glad to explain all the programs so that you can make a decision!

Thank you!!!!!!!!

What he's offered is top NADA value/range on my 2013 Lexus RX350 trade ($19,000) and what (I think) is a very generous offer on the car we test drove:

MSRP - 67,120
Discount - 4,220
Rebate - 2,000
Adjusted price - 60,900 which is 90.7% of MSRP.

BUT, then he packs the deal with a $499 charge for window tint. When I do a window tint it will be the same (excellent) Formula One ceramic tint I did on my Lexus.

Final - 91.5% of MSRP.

Residual value — how much your vehicle will be worth when the lease ends.

Lease mileage limit also determines a leased vehicle's residual value - opt for a low-mileage lease — say 10,000 miles per year — the residual value will be higher than if you opt to include 15,000 miles per year, so the monthly payment should be lower.

Residuals only apply if you are leasing the vehicle. Since you are paying cash, residuals do not matter. Since you are paying cash, you probably aren't eligable for the $2,000 rebate since that rebate is tied to financing the car through BMW Financial Services. Check with your sales guy on that. Maybe you finance the minimum amount for the mimimum number of months so you can get the $2,000 rebated and then pay off the loan once you've reached the mimimum number of months on the loan payments.

At an MSRP of $67k, the G05 you are looking at is not that loaded with crap. You can run the 40i up to $80k or so.

Here's the bottom line: Your SA is offering you over 6% off MSRP on just the discount portion. 6% off MSRP is a good deal. I don't think very many forum members have shown a much better dealer discount in terms of percent. The $2,000 rebate is a completely separate thing. That discount plus the excellent trade in value they are offering makes this a pretty sweet deal. If you are worried that you don't want to pay for the HK stereo, simply pretend that that $875 was part of the $4,200 discount so you are actually getting it for free Simple man math.

Regarding the tint: Don't get it and have it done on your own.

It's a good deal. Buy the car if you want it. Good luck. Show us photos

My Deal (new build order)

$72,510 (includes 995 Delivery fee)
-190 (gesture credit)
-5,800 (8% dealer discount)
-2,000 (apr credit)
-500 (USAA)
$64,020 Total Price before Tax and fees.

-1,000 (BMWCC rebate)

=$63,020

Total off is $9,300 / 12.8% (not including gesture credit)

I got this deal (8%) due to relationships of family and friends with the GM of a dealership. From reading this board, this is not typical right now on X5s. Additionally, I emailed or called 15+ dealers in Texas, OK, and Louisiana over a 1 month period. 6% was the best I was able to get outside of this deal. Some dealers wouldn't come off MSRP at all. Definitely saw a correlation between dealer geographic location and the discount offered. Dealers in/near wealthy areas with high disposable income were offering the least discount.

There aren’t typically any last minute factory incentives offered for the last couple days of the year are there? Thanks.

That's a great deal. Congrats!
We saw a 2019 40i. Dealer listed it with MSRP of $64K, with dealer discount (~$2.2K) and financing credit of $2K. The final sale price is just under $60K. How much do you guys think we can further negotiate?
Also, if we get the $2K financing rebate, are we still gonna get the 2.98% rate (assuming a near perfect credit score)?
Thanks!

Ask for 6% of $64K from the dealer, prior to the Financing Credit.

You still get the rate for the region (2.98%) despite financing rebate.

Sounds like a great deal. Congratulations.

Thanks for sharing that the extra 2% is because of a family relationship. From what I've read here and for the deal I got, 6% off MSRP (including destination charge) is about the best discount available without some kind of a special relationship. Then of course we add the incentives and USAA or BMWCCA to that.

My deal

$73,570 (includes $995 delivery fee)
-$1,450 leather credit
-$190 gesture control credit
-$4,316 dealer discount
-$2,000 finance credit
-$1,000 loyal credit
$64,614 total price before TTL

-$1,000 BMWCCA rebate

=$63,614

Total off is $9,956 / 13.5%

I made my purchase on December 14th. If I had made the same purchase one week later I would have lost the leather credit ($1,450) so my numbers would have been worse.

I spent over $2,000 to put on full front Xpel and ceramic tint so money saved went right back out again.

The car is fantastic and I have no misconception the dealer still made good money off me because if he had not I would not have driven off the lot.

I also made my order on December 14th but the online configurator didn't give me leather credit. the dealer said the leather credit was removed starting Dec 1st

His car was bought off the lot and likely made back in Sept or Oct. The leather credit has not been available for awhile. You get it if you buy a car that was produced during the period it was available. It's tied directly to the car and on the sticker. It's a great discount if you can get it.

I ordered my car at the same time - Dec 14th. No dice for us.

You may still see some on the dealer lots that were built before 12/18 and have Leather credit.

Those cars just have not been sold yet due to a variety of reasons.

Thoughts on this one...
MSRP-77110
Disc-7110
Reb-1000

GPS Fee-299 (they won't take off)
DOC/tax/title/Acq.-$2319
With $7500 down and 12k lease is $892/36 mo

This doesn't include BMW CCA which they said I need to apply for separate-it does include loyalty credit though.

Could anyone provide details on the Loyalty Credit? On the BMW website it is very generic, saying any "former owner", but my dealer said it needs to be a recent owner (12-months).
