Thought I was going to get a new 911 turbo, but after driving this beast it was no comparison.

well done sir--- the MP4 is definitely faster from a roll than the TT-S. How does it really drive as many say its a bit wild. I know there are some sweet deals on these cars now too (2012's are in the 170's with low miles).

Details on the car please Nick???

It's a 2014 spider fully loaded. The car is very quick and very light haven't got it past 120 yet, but it really wants to go... Also it's optioned with the sport exhaust which makes it sound just right..not like a v10 but pretty good.

What is simply amazing about the car is the suspension. It's amazingly soft in normal mode and the car can be a daily driver...no joke.

Thought I was going to get the 991 turbo or a used 458, but this car really impressed me.

RobM5 (Hoopumpers) recently got a 12C Spyder too. You guys should do a McLaren drive! Man, I wish I could be back out there. You guys are making me miss Cali so bad! Lol!

Its funny you mention used 458 because that is something in my wheelhouse of thought right now. I know they aren't close to the speed of the MP4 but they are just magical.

Great minds Niko! Congrats!! My 12C arrived Sunday night

Slightly different path for me. I was never interested in the turbo, but was waiting for a 991 GT3 through the entire engine replacement fiasco. I was able to drive a friend's repaired GT3 recently (prepared for another engine fire during the test drive) and while the car was exceptional...it honestly felt like a hopped up 991.....because it is. The 991 platform is just such a big car. It doesn't do it for me. I track a 996 GT3 cup car conversion, so I'm certainly a fan of Porsche, but the Mclaren is just in a different league. Very different cars, of course, but the Mac has lots and lots of drama. Anyone (and there have been plenty) that say this car is soulless, hasn't spent much time in it IMHO. Acceleration in this thing is otherworldly.

So...Niko...mexico cruise soon?

I hate this forum! I scrape into an M5, barely, and then have to read of you lucky few who buy true exotics! I don't even know if there are any Ferrari or Mclaren dealerships in Michigan, but anyway, congratulations to you both!! Be careful on that journey to the land of unlimited speed. Enjoy!
