Adaptive Suspension

Hi, I have the Adaptive Suspension and pretty much fully loaded F80 minus the ceramic brake option.

I am reading through the pictures and I find the stock height for the F80 is real high on the front. There arent too many coilover options available now. (If there is, I probably stick with KW that I am accustomed to with my old E92).

So, my question is, if you have adaptive suspension, do you still swap it out? If you do, wouldnt I be missing the point of including the adaptive suspension?

If I dont swap, to lower the stance of the car, springs may be the only way? But I have heard that swapping out only the springs could damage the OEM coilovers since they are not designed to work with the aftermarket springs.

Inputs?

Thanks

Since you would like to properly lower the car plus you are ordering your car instead of buying one straight off the lot, just order the fixed suspension and save yourself the hassle of debating whether to lose EDC function or not. Don't lower it on springs, that was the biggest mistake I've made on my previous two M3s.

My car is already ordered... and Adaptive suspension is a "must have" or its standard. I cannot take it off.. the car in Taiwan came pretty much loaded with few options. I basically added individual and some of the other stuff like HK, LED, alarm, etc.. everything is already standard.

So.... why is spring a mistake for the M? Does it damage the adaptive or what nots? If this were E9x, I'd just do KW for sure.
