I have a JB4 that came out of a 2011 135i. I believe it is harness A but please refer to pictures to be sure. I also took a picture of the board for refrence. Can ship, local pick up preferred. Works great, comes with the usb cable

Is this the latest Version of the JB4? Where in Wisc are you located? Im in Woodbury MN so if you are near the border i can possibly pick it up. Thanks

I am in Hudson. I'm not positive if it is the latest or not, I'm not up on the n55 stuff.

We've started development on ISO firmware for the N55 Stage2 (JB4). It offers smoother and more consistent boost control, further reduced lag, and sets up the N55 JB4 to control larger turbos and the BMS N55 flash down the line. All in all good stuff.

And the best part for N55 owners is the normal N55 Stage2 board is already built on the G5 platform so you won't need to change the board to run ISO. So for now, just a little good news for N55 peeks on what is coming down the pipeline. I know you guys often feel neglected. But keep in mind we own two N55s now (135 dct and 335 step) and we are committed to moving the platform forward.

Update notes:

N55_ISO_5_2

1) Removed FutureUseA MAF scaling algorithm for rough idling N55s. Set FutureUseA to 0 when updating to 5_2.
2) Added FutureUseE FuelMass algorithm to potentially improve N55 idle operation. Flex fuel connector must be installed to use this feature. To enable set FutureUseE to 20.
3) ISO 5_3 Corrected bug with JB4 showing map 8 when entering wheel controls.

N55_ISO_5

1) Various changes to improve low and mid throttle boost control
2) Added menus 10-14 to match N54 ISO software. Will upgrade N55 ISO wheel control guide shortly.

Sounds to me like all n55s with stage 2, which is what it says on the board, are g5.
