Split screen settings?

What do you guys show on your screen while driving?

I find myself having the watch and weather on the right, while flipping between nav and music on the left.

Any chance to see a picture of this? I finally had the chance to sit in one last week and play with the MMI. Ive never used it before, it was enjoyable.

My favorite toy is the HUD. Honestly think this type of data is the future of car infotainment. Imagine what they could do with the whole windshield in 5-10 years, honestly like a video game.

Yes I wana see pics... I ordered an M4 and I didn't even know about the weather feature !

if you go to the split screen settings and go to 'Online' it will give you several options to choose from, one of which is the digital clock and weather

I found that article the morning I put up my post. As amazed at I was at the BMW HUD, my father-in-laws 2002 C5 Corvette has it as well. Not in color, but very similar. I cant wait to see what Jag does with their production models.

Between this and what Nissan is doing over the next 3-10 years with autonomous cars, the future is rapidly approaching.

I just hope they open this up and let other people create apps for the BMW. Right now we can choose between only a few widgets, most where time, weather or time and weather.

I have the music on left and map on right but only becuase I thought you could only have the map during split screen.

I even asked the "genius" at the service center how do I change the information in the split screen and he said you cant.
