rear fog lights

Hi guys,

for those of you who have your cars already, do we have the REAR Fogs enabled as default? Or do we have to Mod the light switch and re-code like our US counterparts?

You don't want them to be always on.

The rear fogs are designed to give off an intense glow and in most cases, be brighter than the brake lights. It's to be used in conditions where there is poor visibility (Fog) and/or hard braking. The sole purpose and function of these lights is to increase your car's visibility to other drivers.

Misuse of the rear fogs causes glare to other drivers and can obscure your brake lights.

Please don't be that guy that drives around with the rear fogs activated just because they look cool. I see this a lot in Toronto...and it's mostly from Audi drivers.

A useful fog light coding that you might be interested in is the Brake Light Mod. This is where the rear fogs flashes multiple times when you are "hard" braking or coming to a sudden stop. Again, to increase your visibility and alert the driver behind you.

It is a real simple mod to do. Took me less than 10 minutes to do the button and less than 5 minutes to do the coding .

I agree with the others, as I had already replied to you in the other thread, you don't want those rear fogs to be always on .
