Anyways, some jackass hit my car either at home depot or petsmart in Neptune NJ today. And I park way way way in the back always to avoid jerks who ding doors and loose carts, but no, someone had to clip the right rear bumper ... And then leave with out a note our even an apology.

People are pathetic in this world today. Some assume no accountability for their actions but that seems how it's done these days. I don't think it's too difficult to remove the bumper and There is most likely a diy in the guide section. Good luck

A friend of mine had a shopping cart hit his car in Target parking lot, he went home and called me all pissed off. My recommendation was to go back to Target and report it, there's a reason they have insurance. Sure enough, check in the mail for a new bumper.

OP i'd call the store you were at. Unfortunately, people a f*cking scumbags, and don't care about anyone but themselves.

Op you should report it to the police. This happened to my last car and the cops found the guy from a camera. Worth a shot IMHO.

Just to add to your thread. I got rear ended last monday. Didn't call the cops because I felt bad for the 18 year old kid. Bad move I know. He called his mom and I talked to her. We traded information. She couldn't pay for the damages our of her pocket. I get a call later on in the day from her insurance. Problem is they are trying to call them and get their story on what happened and how to assume liability. Uhm, news flash Ms. claim handler, I got rear ended. Automatically your insured drivers fault........

got rear ended last year not too hard thank god and i changed the bumper myself its real easy in my opinion just unsrew under the rear fender and then its just being held by clips there should be a diy around gluck

Really? Do you know if I can order a bumper painted or do I still need to go to a body shop for the paint? Thinking of getting M-Tech bumper now since I'm replacing it.. we'll see.

My rear damage is similar to yours.. but on the passenger side and went also towards the passenger side exhaust tip, but luckily they did not hit my exhaust.

yea bro ive seen a couple sites that offer to paint the bumper then ship them out but i cant think of any at the top of my head lol pretty sure it was $250 extra for the paint

you should look into a dash cam called blackvue i have one and stays recording when i park for stuff like that have one installed in the front and the back look into it if you're interested

doesn't affect it that much I got the front and rear camera and magic box pro which you hook up to the fuse box behind glove box for it to stay on when parked total I paid was like 450 I believe on amazon prices prob changed but look it up
