I have been watching this forum for a while and have noticed very few 328 are for sale. Quite a few 335 for sale. Are people hanging on to their 328 or may not enough of them out there.....

It's because the 328i is reliable so people keep them. The 335i can't be relied on worth a shit lo so people get rid of them before they escalate in problems

Because 335i is a more sought after car for aftermarket modifications and it's also a higher performance model. Most people that buy a 328 are families, or just folks in general that are not going to mod it or be on a forum. Lots of 335i owners will be on a forum and therefore list their car for sale on a forum.

Just look at the forum traffic. How many threads in the 328i section? And how many in the 335i section? Most of the member base owns a 335i so what else would you expect?

That's just a dumb comment. Older 328i's were not turbocharged so of course an NA motor will cost less to maintain and have fewer issues, that's not why you see less issues

So yeah...that or the fact that people who drive 328i's don't tend to frequent enthusiast forums.
