This seems odd.

After filling my car with higher octane fuel (100 RON / 94.5 AKI), I decided to lift my boost from 90% through the User Map. First I tried 92% then 94%.

The funny thing is, my boost level on the data log did not change during my test. It continued to hover around 14.5 psi be it 90% or 94%. My boost maximums are very flat and consistent.

My method: Change the torque map values throughout the rev range, hit Apply and then OK. (The settings are retained the next time I view the torque settings).

I am currently running 2.02 12/19. Otherwise car is a stock Steptronic.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Did you hit "Load Map" after you changed your torque settings? I think that's how it's done.

"load map" is for uploading a new version of a map, if I'm not mistaken.
What CaptOz did sounds right to me as that's what I've done and like him, it retains those settings if I close the User Software down and then reopen it back up and click on "user adjustable torque settings".

Maybe a couple other people or Shiv can chime in here, but your boost levels should go up with the % increase changed.

Yea, if ypou were to hit load map, you would reload the map with it's default tq values...

Set the new torque ratings then save the map under a new name then select that file when you "load map". Works great for me then you can name new torque setting maps and make adjustments as needed between maps.

After changing the torque values and hitting the "ok" button, the software doesn't seem to write/update to the Procede even though it's connected.

I use load map after I'm done with changing the torque values.

Hope I'm doing the right thing here..

You may be, and we may be doing it wrong.

Like LuckyD said, I just hit "apply" and then "ok".

But as you stated, it doesn't go through the Uploading % values or anything at the bottom of the screen.

I just close the window and then re-open it to see if the changes were made, sure enough, it shows the new values in the window, but they very well might NOT have uploaded or changed the map.

For us slower fellows, can you explain the step by step as to what you do to save the new map with a new name AFTER changing the torque settings?

And then how we "upload" that newly named, newly saved map?

Haven't done this yet but I would think you just click on the "Save As" option under File. Saves as a PCD so I would think it's the same.. Maybe I'll try it this afternoon to see if that's it.

Another way to go about it:

1) Use "File" & "Open" on the map you wish to load to procede.

2) Open the User Torque Tables and change values as desired.

3) Click "Save as" and save the altered torque values as a map with a new name.. example "v2.0.2-94.pcd"

4) Use "File" & "Open" on the newly saved map. The map should load / software should show the loading process (0-100%) at the bottom.

after setting the values, goto file on the left hand side and it "save as" When you press that it will prompt u that the file already exist, either you save the new setting to the original file or you type your own file name example "V2.02 updated" then hit save and you will have it saved...To check if the setting are right just go offline with the procede and hit the file again and load the new file you just created or overwrited and check the settings

Test whether the change has been successful by exiting the program, starting it again, connecting to the PROcede and have a look at the user torque values. They have to be changed now.

File-Load is used for loading new map's.

That's what I thought too.
But to be honest with you, it's really hard to tell the difference between the power settings.
However, on the dyno the other week, when I'd just change the settings, hit apply and then ok and then redyno, it showed a bit more power each time after doing this.

But it would be nice to have the software "upload" it by showing a 0-100% completion at the bottom of the screen after you hit apply.

Connect to the PROcede, the map loads. Once it's loaded use File - Save as and type in the name you want to give the map. Press ok.

He did for safety sake so people wouldn't go crazy with the torque settings in certain areas of the rpm range and he wants to set "guidelines" for using the adjustable settings before people do it.

I spoke to him personally on the phone about it, since I told him I didn't want as much torque in the low rpm range but wanted about 14.5 psi in the upper range (I know he said we can do up to 15 psi, but I want to play it a bit safe, for me, I say 14.4 psi on just over 93% settings).
I also wanted to taper it off a bit in the last 500 rpms...again to play it a bit safe.
He gave me the ok after speaking to him personally.

Car runs great with that set up. Allows for good launches without too much torque below 3500 rpms. Power comes on smooth and really rips in that 4000-6500 rpm range.

I'll see how it does on the dyno, and might make some small corrections based on that.
Again, a bit less torque than v1.47 gave below 3500 rpms, but the mid and upper range advantage of v2, all the while being a smooth gradual climb in power.

Again, with MY car, those settings feel good, now I'll see how it does on the dyno and datalog it too if I can.

Regarding User TQ setting. All you have to do is make sure you are online with the PROcede, change the numbers in the table and hit "apply". The update is instantaneous (no 0-100% status bar). No need to load anything or press any other button. Very simple.
