Will this carbon fiber trim fit our M steering wheel?

Afternoon fellow F22 owners. Could someone tell me if this carbon fiber trim for the M Steering wheel would fit ours (M235i)?

The description says that it is for the F30 but in the pictures I see that the steering wheel is just like the M235i.

Damn, that's the same price as the CF mirror caps for a whole lot less material.

Yeah you're right, I'm kind of undecided if to purchase it or not. I'm gonna spend $700+ on the Performance alcantara interior and wondering if this small piece worth the investment

Ya, I have the entire CF/Alcantara interior as well and this would 'finish it off' but that's extremely difficult to justify for such a tiny piece, haha.

Yep, I agree. Say, would you mind sharing some pictures of your performance interior man? If you're able to, thanks

Thanks dharo for sharing this! Question: is it difficult to remove the OEM trim and then place this carbon fiber piece over it? Thanks again!

So it doesn't match anyway...the steering wheel version is shiny while the interior is 'dry'

I was thinking the same thing. Bummer

BMW knows what they're doing. They could easily make a trim piece for the steering wheel to match the rest of the M performance interior, but why do that when they can just sell us the $1200-$2000 steering wheel instead!

I wrapped mine for $10... looks perfect, and all seams are recessed and hidden.

I doubt the "weight saved" is anything to worry about

Looks great Spieltag! Did you find difficult to remove the trim from the steering wheel?
