Adaptive Suspension and Springs Questions
As the thread title states,
1)Does anyone who HAS ADAPTIVE SUSPENSION ALSO have springs? 2) What are your thoughts? Does it still allow all of the settings as far as servotronic and all that jazz next to the shifter to work properly? 3) Did anyones Headlights (Lighting package) get messed up? When I lowered my past cars with H&R springs, my head lights pointed about 10 ft in front of me straight into the road and would not auto align anymore. I'm not sure if this was an installer issue or what, some input would be appreciated? 4) Is anyone else holding out for the review on these??? http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...-spring-system -BROCHOP

I've posted in other threads on this, but I put the KW HAS kit on my F10 M5 and had no issues whatsoever. All EDC settings worked perfectly and felt almost stock (or better). I feel the KW springs are less bouncy than H&R.
I would expect similar results on the F82. Go for it |

Interesting in this springs too, but don't want to ruin the car's balance.
I had Eibach pro kit on my 335i m passive suspension and it felt bouncy, so I don't want to have the same problems with the KW, which is not cheap. On my 1M I had the KW DDC and I liked it more than the stock passive suspension. So may be the KW will make DDC that will work with the standard EDC button? It will be a very good way to go or may be Bilstein will make something? There was a kit for the e92 EDC and also they have the Ride control coil overs.

this KW kit looks very cool. I had the Adaptive on my E60 M5 and realy loved it, i installed H&R and the car rode and bounced terribly. my shocks developed leaks around the piston seal. I removed the H&R and later sold the car. Living in the NYC area there is a very fine line of lowering a car and keeping things in tact. I would consider this KW kit as i only wouldnt mind lowering my M3 when it arrives just a 3/4 up front while leaving the rears the same as OEM.

KW V3 out shortly. That's what I'll be installing
HAS stands for height adjustable spring. It just means you can choose how low you wanna go. |

Swift is working on their Spec-R springs matching to the damping capabilities of the EDC as well as the none EDC equipped cars.
