Why does the M235 sit high
Never understood why the M235 sat so hi over the tires (large wheel well gap).....compared to other performance cars. I think there was less gap on my 1 series with sport pack and I even thought it was too high. When you look at a lot of other performance vehicles they seen to sit lower over the tires. I was thinking of spacing the wheels out 12mm to see if it took away from the illusion of a large gap but don't think it will. Just looking for opinions & feedback

Not too bad a gap, I think it looks purposeful.
Interesting if there's any aero or compression reason. I'm surprised people run into any clearance issues in daily drives. Are the BMW accessory 19inchers the same OD as the stock 18inchers? |

Once I even slightly touched the rear mufflers when I was driving out of a parking. |
