Powder Coating the Wheels?

E92 Jet Black...328i - Sport Package...

That means:

Sport Package Wheels...

I love the style of the wheels...I just wish that they were black.

Powder Coating Them black? A Good idea?

Photoshop Please!

How much will it cost for powder coat? Anyone know anyone to do it in South FLA- Boca Raton Area?

Thanks!

I would not suggest powder coating cast wheels

You'd be a lot better off painting them

You would be looking at about $100 per wheel for a good job on them.

Not if it is done right.

Remember, finishes on OEM wheels are painted, not powder coated.

Powder coating a cast wheel will affect the strength of the wheel.

a local shop here charges $120 per wheel....Anywhere from $75-$130 is about right...depends on the quality of the work done.

There's been a guy or two who's done this already. I specifically remember a black E92 with OEM sport wheels painted gloss black.

And +1 on painting them.
