RPI Intercooler
Nice guy, Eloy. Receiving my filter today. This guy impressed me on the phone. (not easy to do)
My question is..has anyone installed this inter-cooler yet? 84% thermal efficiency and tested 26 whp gain over stock. $1200. I like this guys attitude, or lack thereof. Thanks.

Here is my dyno with the RPi IC. The top line is with the IC. Only have about 11 psi ... the more psi, the better the performance. Top end output is great with this IC.

Have it. Love it. Great customer support from Eloy.
I chose it over others for several reasons- -Keeps the OEM hoses/fittings so it is faster and easier to install and you can go back to stock at any time. You do -not- need to remove the bumper cover either to install, contrary to every DIY I've seen for it. Complete waste of time. At least not on an E90. Just the belly pan. -It's not huge. I didn't want to risk lag or compromise radiator efficiency or add unnecessary weight to the nose. Not that others do, just didn't want the risk. -Performance. I'm still running stock boost for now with HFC dps. Don't have a dyno, but I can feel the improvement over 4k rpms. - |
