Leather coating anyone?
Has anyone done a leather coating to protect from premature wear and cracks. I am pretty lazy to clean car every week, and most likely will forget. If there is a coating available to help prolong leather life and reduce wear/tear I may consider. Please guide.

Me too! I am simply too busy. I just use the product BMW sells once every few months when I think about it on my previous M's and also Lexor (I think that's the brand) is on my shelf.
I've never had a problem. My car is garage kept in the PNW. |

Check out the post from detailers domain yesterday. He uses leather masters products to clean and protect the SO interior. I just ordered this setup and will give a review after I do it. Leaves a matte finish which is key in SO.

I'm a little wary of leather coatings. I saw the CarPro one, and it leaves the leather shiny, rather than matte. The problem is, it seems like the only way to remove it is by abrasive methods (polishing), which is fine for paint, but not for leather. I think GTechniq and Optimum make good leather coatings too, with more of a matte look. For now, I'm gonna stick with leather protectants. I've used Connolly and Leatherique products in the past (which have been really good), and ordered the LeatherMaster protectant to give it a try this time around.
