Back together with original tips. Since it is MG I have left them the unpainted mat black

That looks great! Any pics of the rear from a distance? It's not very common to see a MG with the kit. What are your thoughts on the MPE? Worth it? I like that you kept the black tips - looks more aggressive.

I know that is a bit back woodsy but I did not have 4 of the same size and the blocks allowed me to have the car perfectly level up off the ground so I could get the exhaust aligned just right as if it was sitting on level ground. Looks like shit but effective and actually quite stable
More pics to come later and unfortunately I have not really driven the car yet. Now looking at it I think I might do the side sills to wrap it all together.....and a color matched MG performance style spoiler

Please paint the parts highgloss black! It looks so much richer.
You may have a look at my build thread, so you get an idea!

Great job on the install, but I agree on using some jack stands or ramps.

I like your high gloss black parts a lot, especially on AW, but I also like the original matte finish on the OP's MG. I think the matte gives the MG a more aggressive look.

Don't paint the parts hi-gloss unless that's what you like. Flat black on MG incredibly aggressive. Well done!

Good job mate! On a difficulty level of 1-10, where would you put this job for the rear diffuser?

look what I`ve found

But my intention was to paint the whole lip highgloss black on op`s car.
My thread should only give him the idea of the fully painted rear diffuser.

On MG I prefer the diffuser and the front lip completely painted highgloss black.

Gloss is too shiny for me...prefer the mat. I just learned that the side sills are not available and the p/n is blocked from ordering. I wonder if there is a defect or something. I really wanted to add them now looking at how it all comes together...... Bummer

Nice job!
Was the diffuser hard to remove?
I've read somewhere that it sometimes gets stuck.

No it comes off really easy...now putting the black one on was way harder. No opinion on the MPE yet....I will wait about 500mi so it burns in and opens up a bit to know how it really sounds. Right not it was not a dramatic difference but from what I have read it will open up a bit.

Looks awesome!
How did you get your stock tips to stick out so much? My car came with the MPE installed by the dealer and they left the stock tips on really in the diffusor (seems like the hammered it all the way in with a rubber mallet). Would I be able to simply pull the tips out more?

Mine are bottomed out. I have the exhaust that have the longer out pipes for the performance diffuser. This is just how it lines up and my exhaust is hanging perfectly vertical down on the hangers just like stock

Well crap... Wonder if the dealer installed the wrong version of the mpe on my car. I have the same diffuser too and my tips are about an inch into the diffuser.

If you got the performance diffuser then you should have gotten the exhaust with the longer exit pipes. Look and my exhaust pic and compare it to yours.....you should be able to look at it and tell by the extensions. I pounded the tips all the way on with a rag wrapped block and mallet
