Unless you're super OCD about brake dust or track your car a lot, OEM is pretty good.

Considering centric ceramic posi quiet. Also need wear sensors.

The Akebono pads are pretty good and no dusting. There are plenty of reviews for them on this forum.

OEM pads are also a good option but they do dust a lot.

Never used the centric pads, heard that they work fine.

I use StopTech Street pads. Had a few track days on them and they perform great. Love the initial bite

You probably should consider changing out the rotors. Typically speaking you can get a second set of pads on the OEM set of rotors if you do a lot of hwy driving.

So, if you do a lot of city driving or are looking at a 3rd set of pads on the OEM rotors, you probably need to get rotors.

Brembo UV makes a good set of rear rotors.

Akebono.

I have them on my x5 and 328. Zero dust and oem performance. The rear axle on the 328 will soon receive these.

Akebono pads.
Placeforbrakes.com

For the price you find them here....its worth trying them.
Just remember....DO NOT bed them.
I don't know what they cost right now, but I paid 146 all around about 1.5 years ago delivered.

Enjoy 0 brake dust, OEM feel.

I bought a complete set of Ankebono pads from Tire Rack and had them installed locally; had rotors turned at same time. Well worth the cost for the switch.

Stop great, no noise and NO DUST!!!!

You can currently get a complete set of Ankebono pads from them for $149 -- $85 front and $64 rear --here.

If you don't want dust in your wheels. DO NOT GO OEM. they dust like crazy. I've heard akebono to be the best low dusting brake pads, BUT if you have oem silver alloy wheels, I've heard about a guy that had black rims that the dust the brake pads would release was like a silver color, so they would look like silverish lol. I'm not sure if they were deffective or that's how they hide the dust. I have EBC RED STUFF on mine rears and I love them. Great braking performance and they don't dust that much either. I have ebc in my rears and oem in my fronts and you can tell the difference in dusting.

I have a 2013 335is that produces almost no dust, pretty sure the pads BMW used were Jurid White. I have not found them in the market yet but I think they might be what BMW is using these days.

HAWK HPS

FRONT AND REAR --- very low dust and excellent linear braking. If installed properly - quiet . I believe there is a new formula for HPS . I have loved them for nearly 50k

AXXIS Ultimate pads. The best bang for your buck IMO and they are high performance pads.

Updated OEM pads do not dust. Less initial bite than the dusty ones though.
