Wheels and caliper painting

I know this has been talked about before but I wanted to get some ideas or opinions on what I'm thinking about. I love the M sport wheels that came with my 228i M sport and do not want to change. I also like the blue break calipers the M breaks provide. I do not need the breaks but thought painting them to match my Estoal blue 228i as well as painting or powder coating the wheels gloss black might look cool. Thoughts?

Done correctly, the base brakes would look fine painted or powdercoated.
My wife has the stock brake calipers on her Z4 and I powdercoated them pink for her along with doing her wheels gloss black.

Using caliper paint and hand painting them though, might look nice at first, but it doesn't after a while. Either get a body shop to paint them with quality paint or get them powdercoated.

That car looks positively wicked! My regards to Mrs. Vader.

thanks! although she pretty much stopped driving it regularly when we replaced the expedition with a cayenne 2 years ago. We've had her car 5 years now and she has 37k on it.
