So I've heard that these fender flares velcro onto the car. If that is true I can see them not being friendly for public road use. I've yet to find a vendor that sells them also BMW has responded through email that these are just for the racing cars.

Technically all wide body kits are for racing and track use. But we still can see some on the road now, right. So who is selling it?

Thats not what i meant. If they are velcro they run the risk of flying off and hitting someone. that is my reasoning for why they wont sell to us. I've contacted them I also want them. If you can find them please let me know. I recall seeing someone in japan with a set on this forum but I don't think they were m performance.

there's one here in Hong Kong...as far as I know they're OEM parts, no idea about the velcro thing, all I know is that the fenders had to be cut

available wide body kits

I've been looking into this issue as well. so far, these are the options I have found:

- Manhart Performance - 6000 euros plus shipping, i personally do not love the front, i feel its too wide

- Tuningwerk - 16000 euros plus shipping, very nice look, similar to the M235i Racing

- iND - 16000USD, personally my favorite, check out PertPlus' Blue Ice picture thread
