Dinan-Flashed Car reaches 175mph
Seems like he ran out of space.
See my cut and paste job below from L Seca from Bimmerfest: "When I was on my ED adventure last summer, I verified the sport pkg speed limiter at an indicated 150 mph. The actual speed measured on my Garmin Nuvi was 145. Not bad. So I got the Dinan software flash as a Christmas present (what a wife!), and had an opportunity to confirm that the software does in fact remove the limiter. See the attached screenshot from the Nuvi. This was done legally at a private test facility - don't try this on a public highway!"

WOW....I was just going to put up a post and ask if anyone had verified that the dinan really does remove the limiter.
I got the dinan 2 weeks ago and have been dying to find out. Got it up to 140 last night but had to slow down b/c there were some turns coming up. I will still need to verify for myself of course.

But HR Sway front and rear, Koni FSD, Quaife LSD, Front M Aero Lip, Real trunk spoiler, 12mm spacers all around.. Think i should be stable enough as i did these mods specifically for highspeed driving purposes.. Will report back in a few days |

Nice. Who's going to be the first to break 180mph?! *Must include a photo of GPS unit or screenshot of GPS software to qualify!

I really don't want to read about who got their 335 airborne first. Leave the high speed experiments to folks with experience.

yeah guys, make sure your setups are meant to handle the high speeds. in particular your suspension setups which are key! if not you may be doing one of these two:

That being said, everyone be careful. Check your tire pressures first and preferably have a set of good coilovers installed. Oh and only try this on an abandoned runway, racetrack, or the autobahn if youre lucky enough to live over there!

The guy used Michelin PS2 mounted on stock rims.
"The pavement was a little bumpy, and there was some cross wind. So above 150 it felt a little jumpy. Below 150 was solid as a rock."

A completely stock 335i feels solid at 150. Took mine up to it's limit during my European Delivery last July. I'd be curious to see how she feels at 175. Dinan, here I come.
