Cleaning the steering wheel

So not exactly sure what is going on but for some reason everytime i drive now my hands get sticky, i don't think it is sweat I think the steering wheel must be a bit sticky perhaps i forgot to wash my hands after a meal? (Not sure how though since i've been quite cautious with this to keep it clean!

Nevertheless I need to figure out how to clean the steering wheel, would a simple leather cleaner do the job? Or maybe just a water + a towel? Any ideas guys?

There's so many sexual innuendos that can be made from this post but I'll just leave it at that.

I only use Meguiare's interior detailer wipes. They work great and you can pick them up pretty much anywhere.

There are other good products out as well. Just make sure whatever you get doesn't have a an oily formula.

^ I use this as well. You dont want to use anything that makes the leather feel slippery.

I like the feel of mine - using Lexol and buffing it well feels quite supple.

I use BMW leather conditioner for the leather steering wheel. Works great, it's like moisturizer cleaning lotion for the leather surface. I also like their vinyl protectant, smells great and it's not glossy.

I ended up just using the Meguiares wipes, Essentially very expensive baby wipes :P

Did the job just fine and I used it to clean the seats and dash a little bit too.

Problem solved! =D Thanks for the help guys.
