KNAUZ BMW mod-friendly???

Anyone know of a service adviser or service technician that will "look" the other way if your ride has a tune or downpipes at KNAUZ BMW in Lake Bluff? Debating whether to get a tune (JB4) with downpipe or just get a downpipe with valve control module.

my sales guy at elmhurst bmw told me as long as you don't touch the electronics they don't care.

i dont know if i would believe that, i took my car there for service and its a bunch of older dudes with zero personality. They werent even friendly.

I bought my car at knauz, but go to fields for service. Ask for Ed or Chris.
