BMW Geniuses -E-mail/Text
I have my 235 about month now. Between the PCD product specialist, forums and trial and error I have figured out most of the BMW tech stuff. The only exception is the Office function of Connected Drive. Initially, BMW Genius #1 told me on a phone call to the dealership, I could not have office (E-mail/Text) because Verizon was my carrier. After reading through countless forums & threads and not seeing Verizon as a problem, I decided to stop by the dealership, whereby Genius #2 was unable to figure things out and suggested I might not have Enhanced USB/Bluetooth option. After attempting to assure her I did, she calls BMW NA and gets Genius #3 on the phone who verifies I have the option but he tells me the office function will not work with apple 6+ I0S. I have read some IOS phones have issue with BMW Connect but have not heard that all IOS will not work. Considering nearly a third of the mobile phones in the world are IPhones, I find that hard to believe. Can anyone with an IPhone shed some light on this?
