What 18" Sport tires were on your car at delivery?
I am interested in those with 18" sport package tires only.
Tirerack.com lists 2 different tires as OEM for the 335xi Sedan. Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP I have also heard of one report of somene getting Pirelli PZero RFT. If you have taken deliver recently of a 328 or 335 with 18" RFTs, please post your 3 series model, manufactured month/year, delivery date, and type of tires. I'd also be interested in if you purchased your car off the lot or ordered it. Thanks! Last edited by TheJackal; 02-04-2008 at 10:09 PM.. |

So someone said they received Pirelli PZero RFT on thier car but didn't post any additional info?
Please share, otherwise I got to think this is Thanks to everyone else who responded so far. Looks like the probability of receiving the Bridgestones is quite high. LOL |

And the PS2s came on your new 3series at delivery (since you had them before the Pirellis)? Interesting.

I thought all 335i 18 inch sport tires were the Bridgestone Potenza Runflats. Michelin PS2 has runflats ??

My 08 Dec build came with Michelin ps2's. After reading all the posts about the crappy RFT's, I decided to pass up on the tire warranty. But now that I realized i have the PS2's. I don't think they are bad at all. I know the non-rft ps2's get good reviews, but then again so do the non-rft re050.
Is it the rft that makes them not as good? |

I take back my statement. We just had a 335 convertible sport come in with the Pilot Sport ZPs.

Wow I just checked tire rack on my 2008 335i Coupe original tires and it Does have 2 sets. I wish I got the Michelins, these Bridgestones suck.
