Anyone run Bridgestones new RE-01R?

They blew away all the other typical top performers in Tire Rack's latest max performance summer tire test (PS2's, F1's etc), and they have some really great user reviews. Anyone here have them on your 335? I'm very tempted.

They're outstanding. You might get more forum responses in Spring or Summer.

I run them on my Miata "race car" they are simply amazing tires and have never let me down. I have run the F1's and Toyo T1's and think they are superior to both of those by a good margin. They are a top pick for me when I get new rubber for my 335i.

I replaced my stock 17" Turanzas with wider RE-01Rs. The tires perform much better than OEM tires. Grip level is very high for street tires. The ride quality is pretty much the same as the RFTs. The RE-01Rs are pretty noisy at low speed, but they are quieter than OEM tires at highway speed.

I heard they perform really well, even better than F1 or PS2. But the only concern I have is how long is it gonna last? I heard they wear out pretty fast. I might be wrong tho

Faster wear than a PS2, but stronger dry grip/cornering.

Had them on my STI. Great tire for track/aggressive street. Very confidence inspiring at the limit of adhesion and slide very progressively. Melts like hot butter though.
