FS: F36 GranCoupe H&R Sport Springs ~LOW BALLERS WELCOME!~
UPDATE: REDUCED PRICE Make me an offer at this point. I just want them gone! Hello All! As the title reads, I'm selling my H&R Sports which fit all GranCoupes (F36 chassis) X-drive and non. The part number on these are 28878-5. They've only been on my car for roughly three weeks and have +/-200 miles on them. They are basically brand new. They ride really nicely, and have helped connect the X-drive "bouncy" ride better to the pavement. The drop varies based on the stock suspension options your car came with. I'm only removing them to upgrade to Bilstein Coilovers. See below for photos of them installed on my car. Again, mine is an X-drive. RWD cars should expect less fender gap than my car. When I took delivery of this car it looked like an X4! Priced at Make me an offer. You might be suprised. shipped within the continental US. These are now off the car and ready to ship! Please let me know if you have any questions! H&Rs with 20" Velgen Wheels: H&Rs on OEM 18" wheels: Last edited by Titan 3; 05-21-2015 at 03:45 PM.. |

Hi there. Can you please let me know what kind of gap you have between top of tire and fender? Did the car drop as much as the H&R website predicts? (1.1" in front, 1" in rear) I have a non x drive car and wanted to know what kind of drop I can expect. According to the website, its .6" front, .5" rear, which I hope is conservative as I want closer to 1" all around.

I had 1 1/8 inch between my front tire and the fender. But that is with a 245/35/20 under it. I'm working from eyeballing, as I never did a before and after measurement, but I'd say the springs gave every bit of the claimed measurements. It was VERY high in stock form. If you're interested, they are officially out off the car and sitting on my kitchen counter. (Wife is loving that!). Ready to ship. |

You see, my issue here is that everyone selling these has them on for like a few weeks and then removes and sells, so they must suck. Something must be wrong, whether the drop is too much or you just bottom out the struts constantly.
What I want to know is whats the reason for selling these and getting coils? Not trying to shit on your FS thread, but to make an informed decision on springs.

The springs do not bottom out at all, and honestly improve handling. I just installed a set on my wife's MB that I have no plans on removing. I wanted my tires and fenders to have no separation. It's as simple as that. I've never owned an AWD and it just sat too high for my liking. Hope this helps. Mike |
