Painted Reflectors for a Non-M front end
My jet black 228 should be here in the next couple weeks and I would really like to replace the orange reflectors on the front end. I really don't like the way they look, especially on a black car. However it seems that they are only making painted reflectors for cars with M-sport front ends, which I do not have. I have checked with several vendors and no luck. Anyone know if these are being made? I really don't want to be stuck with the hideous orange ones, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Read on another thread that JBSpeed used to sell painted reflectors for "non m-sport" bumpers...and then discontinued....Were getting no love in terms of aftermarket parts! I wonder why BMW would make such a small part different...

Yeah, I was really bummed after my order got refunded and found out that JBspeed could no longer get them. I am trying to find somewhere that might be able to paint a set of OEM reflectors black for me. So far I'm not having much luck. I might have to go with G4Z's idea about wrapping them, but I was looking to get an exact color match so....

I ordered some from IND and they didn't fit. JBSpeed used to carry but no longer does. I have the deep sea blue so painting or wrapping isn't that easy to get a good match.
No love for the sport line or base model!!! |

I had my mirror caps and side reflectors painted EB for 100$ at a local body shop. Also had my kidney grilles painted gloss black for an extra 50$. Much cheaper than buying a new set of each.
