Glow Plug Fault Codes

Hey guys,

Last night I was driving the D for about 45 min. I parked for like a minute, shut her down and when I started her back up received a Service Engine Soon light. I scanned the codes and came up with:

U0106 - Lost Communication With Glow Plug Control Module
P0670 - Glow Plug Module Control Circuit

Seems like it's something glow plug related but the car starts and runs just fine. It is warm now so the glow plugs aren't really working too hard, in fact I barely ever have to wait or see the glow plug light turn on....even in the cold.

I'm debating on whether or not to reset the code and see if it comes back or just leave it on because I already have a dealer appt in a week for other items.

I was sure this was a DEF / Urea issue when the SES came on!

Also, My car is a 2010 335d with 65,500 miles.

And today, it went away on its own!

And today it came back! Same codes. Dealer appointment is Thursday/Friday

Dealer replaced the glow plug module under warranty.
