Wheel Cleaner
Has anyone had success with off the shelf products for removing caked on brake dust? Or have any suggestions?

It think wheel cleaners are a waste. I have tired them all and the only one that works somewhat is the ps21 wheel gell. I would only use a wheel cleaner for wheels that need to be brightened and I would use the grime reaper. But I just stick to cwg and a brush. It works as good as anything and costs less.
But as far as getting tar and baked on stuff i just buff it. The mothers power ball and the metal polish works good, but i used 3m rubbing compound with the power mini and had amazing results. Just do that and follow with a wheel wax and seal of some sort. I use CG wheel guard and it works great. It will also repell break dust and stuff like that. just put on a coat or two. check out my post and you can see what i used and how it turned out.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ower+ball+mini feel free to pm me for any questions
