LED DRL on Halogen headlights?

Hey guys

Picked up a set of H15 LED bulbs from a buddy of mine today and installed them on. However, they don't seem to be turning on and no flickering at all either...

Am I skipping a step? No coding is necessary right (other than coding out the errors)? Always thought the install should be a simple plug and play... just hoping the bulbs arn't DOA/defective

Update: Turns out the bulbs were DOA. Got my hands on a replacement set and they work perfectly! Coded out the DRL & High Beam Cold/Warm checks and enabled IS_LED but I still get "Left/Right High Beam Malfunction" error messages. Oh well

what does the DRL have to do with the high beams?

DRL and High Beam share the same bulb (H15 bulb)

I also upgraded my BMW to LED headlights last year from Xtralights online, the LED kit is CANBUS compatible. You need the CANBUS kit to prevent problems like flickering for all BMW and other european cars like Mercedes, Audi, VW, etc…

Im really looking to make the Halogen replacements my next mod. Anyone recommend HID options error free of course.
