M Performance Diffuser for 228I - Parts Needed?

Hello I have a newbie question: My Car is a 228 M- Sport with standard exhaust.
Ive ordered the M Diffuser but I don't know if any other parts are needed.

I think I also need to order:

BMW M Performance Exhaust Pipe Finisher Adapter / 228i
18302287043

Is this needed? Do I also need to order tips. Thanks in Advance for you your replies this is the first time modding the diffuser

What else do I need to install the M diffuser on a 228 - M Sport with a std exhaust?

You would need the 18302287043 part number which is the exhaust tip adaptor and you can actually reuse the oem tips or you can purchase the M performance tips.

Thank you for your reply. This really helps. Do you think its worth buying the M Performance Tips? They are kinda pricey at almost $300 for both. What is the benefit of these tips? In advance thanks for your help. Fist time doing a this mod.

You can honestly go without the tips. I did, looks fine.

Thanks for all the replies I actually went with black tips should look good with the M Diffuser on a EB 228. Not a fan of chrome and CF tips are way to much money!

I got the M Diffuser installed today and when they added the adapter the pipes were sticking out 6 in past the rear of the car (maybe this german specialty shop did not know what they were doing). I ended up just using OEM tips w/o the adapter on it and it looks flush with the car. Will anything happen if I leave it as is or was there a mistake by the shop? Don't want to mess up the car. In advance thanks for all your help. I've learned a lot from just reading.

Looks good! I think I'm convinced to grab the M performance diffuser as well after seeing yours.
