Just use someone like UPS to ship your wheels. They'll even pick up your wheels and package them, all for a fee of course. You can get pricing off their site.

it cost like 150 to ship mine, same "region" (east) - ground. UPS "packaged" them by putting cardboard cutouts over the rims themselves, and taping the tread. that was for 4 x 60lb.

i was the receiver. the shipper dropped them off at a ups store as is, and the ups store did the "packaging". i was not impressed by it, however the rims and tires arrived undamaged, so i can't really bitch too much.

Shipping wheels only generally runs around $35 each and with tires around $45-$55 each. It all depends where they are going and what company you use. Of course this is with your own packaging.

Shipping in the 48 continental states should cost about $160-170. It might be cheaper if you packaged them together (2 wheels per package).

Did anybody use USPS?
I got a quote on their site for a 70lbs 25x25x12" box from 76020 to 72756 for $18 regular parcel mail - 4 days shipping time. I need to ship a staggered set of 162s with tires.

Yeah, I use USPS exclusively. $225 to ship four 19" rims priority, insured, certified. More expensive than other shippers, but my only option.
