Proper CSL Rep Fitment

I've got some new tires I want to mount on some CSL reps (got a good deal on some Goodyear Eagle F1 AS that I couldn't pass up).

At any rate I have 225/40/18 & 255/35/18 for the staggered set up. Can I get csl reps, keep the staggered set up & not worry about stretched tires?

I have an 06 325i with sport package.

If I'm not mistaken, the tire sizes that you got are OEM tire sizes for BMW 18" rims/wheels. The CSL reps (18") that I've seen come in 8.5 FR, 9.5RR in staggered fitment. Depending on the tire, it could "look" stretched on the rim.

I think the Volk Racing Progressiv ME wheels come in 8x18/8.5x18 and may fit your tires better. Expensive as hell, though! Good luck!

Yes they will fit. 225 on 8.5 front and 255 on a 9.5 rear is fine. hell, i've seen 245 on a 10 rear. Now thats what you call stretched.

Does it affect handling or wear or anything?

I think the e46 m3 had 255 on a 9.5" wide rim. It will look fine.

Yep, those tire specs are fine for staggered CSLs.
