Watkins Glen short course

This year has been a bitch with my schedule, I wanted to make it to the Glen at least once more with the old pavement, but unfortunately the boot will be torn up so we will be running the nascar course.

Anyone have any experience?

The good thing is that my Dad is going to participate for the first time, so it should be good for a new driver since the most technical parts of the course are cut out. He will use my car since we will be in different run groups... he has a 2009 Corvette with the Z51 susp and a 6 speed stick... needless to say my 330i is a little more forgiving
