Closing fender gap with a bigger tire/wheel?
Hello, everyone,
I'm really bothered by the huge fender gaps of my 328xi, especially the front ones. I don't want to lower the car since it's leased. Is it possible to fill the gaps by getting tires/wheels that have larger overall diameter? Has anyone done this? Thanks a lot for your input. |

it actually reminds me of the x6, the X6 looks like a sedan that has been turned to a SUV, by giving it bigger wheels and setting the car higher. thats just my opinion.

M3 has 245/40/18 in the front for 25.75". It's 3/4" larger diameter than a 335. Hardly truck like. I'm going with 245/35/19 all around on 19x8.5 wheels. Maybe I'll go for 255/35/19....

Yep, I agree this is the easiest way. You can get slightly larger tires, as rallycobra said, but installing sport springs or something similar will give you a decent drop and change the stance of your car dramatically.

Ive always read everywhere that just putting new springs on (ie...a prokit, which is very mild) will still mess your stock shocks up.
So prokit+shocks...? |
